This week I found one thing Interesting it was Uniform swap because we got to be the Adults and the kaiako had to be the kids and we got to wear anything we wanted and they had to be in school Uneiorm and we got to sit down and listen to them do their mihi and we had to do the roll in stead of them.
This week I learnt about timetables in maths and it was so hard and I was not that good at it but I know my 10s timestables.
My favorite part of the week was CRT because we learnt how to make pompoms and bracelets with whaea kathy and it was really nice when we made pompoms she helped me it was so fun.
Next week I would like to learn more about different strategies for timestables in mathes.
This is my reflection for the week 20th July to 24th July
During CRT, we worked with Elizabeth and used LEGO Spike. We built a Hopper and had to prototype different legs. We built and tested the Hopper.
The problem with the first Hopper build was the legs made the hopper go in a 360 direction.The hopper w prototypes went backwards then around in a circle so my buddy Kowhai and I decided that we were going to make the legs longer. now
One thing I really enjoyed this week was my pre test in maths because I got 50%
On my other pretests I have never got 50% before.A challenge I faced this week was kapa haka because we had to sing for hours.Something I felt proud of this week is how I got 50% on my pretest. InWant to get better at how we found the root word in Tuhithui. A root word is a base word.If I could change one thing about this week, it would be nothing mind you. I was only here for 1 day as I was sick..
One thing I really enjoyed this week was… and why?
How I work really hard on pangarru because I got 5 out of 8 in my pre test and I am now really good at math.
The 1 thing I felt challenging this week was kapapa Matua because i hardly know what a Patu . I would like to get better at my handwriting so I can start to write books at home.
If I could change one thing about this week, it would be… and why?
I would like to change kaupapa Matua, because I want to learn other subjects .

I also learnt about the puta in kaupapa Matua and what is the hardest thing to make a patu out of like stone, whalebone, pounamu, steel, glass and wood and many more different things you can make a patu out of.
What I found really challenging whas learning about the patu in kaupapa Matua because I really don’t know what a patu even is, now I do. What I want to get better at next week is math because next week we are doing 24 hour clocks. Next week I would like to make the patu because we have been learning about the patu so I won’t make it.

| A challenge I faced this week was learning how to use the app Grok because I have never had a phone before so me and my friends didn’t know what the apps were and the question were very hard and it old you what not to do and what is risky to share and what is ok to Share. And math was really hard to becouse I didn’t know what to do And it felt like a 24 hour clock it whas so hard for me. |
Something I felt proud of this week was my handwriting because it was really good and I’m getting really good. Next week I want to get better at my math because next week I think we are doing a 24 hour clock and if I thing an analog clock is hard then reading a 24 hour clock will be hard.
If i could change one thing about this week it would be kaupapa matua because it is boring learning about patu and resch.
This week I have learnt 2 things in my akomanga. I learnt how to split numbers in Pangarau and how to write and make a short story to a long story in Tuhituhi. Splitting numbers is breaking up the numbers into groups.
I found reading a challenge because I ca n not read that well
What I want to learn next week is Times tables in math.
